You were dating-- well.. fake dating, Percy. You liked him, you liked him a lot; but from what you knew, he wanted Annabeth. He was only dating you to get her jealous, to hopefully tick something in her. Every day spent "dating" him felt like Hell, it made your stomach churn that you were helping him get with someone who wasn't you.

Sometimes it felt real, like you guys were really dating. But it was just fake, you kept reminding yourself of that. Well you thought it was fake.. only until the other day.

Yesterday, you were walking to your cabin, when you noticed Percy talking to his friends. You quickly hid behind a column and listened in on what they were saying. You knew it was wrong, but it felt right.

"How's things going with Annabeth?" of the guys around him asked "Oh uhm.." He shifted uncomfortably "I'm not doing anything with Annabeth.." The guys around him looked confused "wha-- what do you mean? Isn't she the reason you're fake dating that other chick?" Percy blushed slightly "Annabeth's not the reason for it. I just-- i want to be closer to her. I thought that it would bring us closer."
