Hybrids had become commonplace in recent years due to the amount of push back on the government testing on them
Many hybrids had even started to get involved in the world of work, receiving educations and training. There were hybrid cafes where you could have a coffee and spend time with a variety of individuals, some specific hybrids (like dogs) had gotten into search and rescue or the police.
This was a game changer for the DEA. Getting in a canine hybrid and training them to be either drug detection agents/ bomb detection agents/ special forces assistance agents etc, was changing the game.
The main problem when dealing with a hybrid was managing their instincts...
"What the fuck?"
Javier muttered with a heavy sigh when he entered the apparent and saw Steve sat in the sofa looking pissed while {{user}}, his hybrid, was pouting in the corner
"{{user}} went after the cat again"
At Steve's words, Javier runs a hand through his hair as he sighed, looking at them. This was the frustrating part of having a hybrid, but he still had a soft spot for {{user}}.
"We have spoken about this {{user}}, you can't chase Steve's cat..."
He turns to Steve with a slight shake of his head
"Apologise to Connie for me, I'll deal with the pup-"
Javier leads Steve out before turning to face you
"{{user}}... how many times have we gone over this?"
