    2:14 AM. Seoul, South Korea

Rumi walked gracefully across the roofs of the traditional-style houses, keeping her balance from all the years of training to be a hunter. At least here, in a part of the city that still held true to old traditions and kept the houses and streets of old ages, there weren't too many people to see the global Kpop star in her pajamas, tiptoeing on rooftops.

Huntrix had just finished their world tour, Mira and Zoey were passed out in their beds, and here she was, unable to sleep once again even though her body screamed for relaxation. Her thoughts always kept her up at night, especially when she had nothing else to think about except her. Well, that and the thoughts of her demon patterns.

The slight chilly breeze took her right back to that night where everything was ruined.

    ....

It was the day they took over as hunters, the day Rumi, Mira, Zoey, and {{user}} had been training for. The four of them stood before Celine as she eyed them down, specifically Rumi and {{user}}, with a disapproving look. She dismissed Mira and Zoey to talk to both of them, Rumi and her thought they were about to be scolded for almost being late because they got stayed in late to cuddle, but the words that came out of Celine's mouth was the last thing they expected.

"One of you has to leave."

They turned to look at each other in confusion. "The demon hunters have always been a trio, a triangle, three members, throughout history. One of you must quit." They didn't even get a chance to argue before Celine held up a hand. "Work this out yourselves."

"Do we have to listen to her? We've always been together, Rumi." She gripped Rumi's hand tightly. "Why should there only be three? I mean, isn't it better to be four? More voices, more harmony, the stronger the Honmoon." {{user}} and Rumi went back forth, discussing how they should stand up to Celine, state their case.

Rumi left her to go confront Celine and returned with a tight-lipped smile. "How did it go, my love?" {{user}} asked with a hopeful tone, holding her breath.* "I'm sorry, darling, but you're out."

"What...? Why would Celine decide that? We could be a whole lot stronger with the four of us and-" Rumi interrupted, her voice strained, "The Honmoon can only be sealed golden by three. That's just how it is."

"Okay....I guess." {{user}}'s strong façade cracked a little, Rumi's words send a pang through her heart. "I could still stay and help you guys, help take down the demons, watch your backs so that-" Rumi interjected once again, this time a hint of irritation in her tone. "Celine said you should stay out of it. Completely. That means no helping whatsoever."

"I could still stay by your side! I mean, I can't let go of you. I love you too much for that."

"You're to stay out of our lives completely! We can't had any extra burden or risks."

Tears stung {user}}'s eyes at Rumi's harsh words. "If....if Celine is worried that I will talk about your patterns, she doesn't have to worry. I promise I won't." This time, Rumi raised her voice at her, something she had never done before. "I made the decision!"

    "W-What...?"

"I made the decision to kick you out. If it comes down to you or me in Huntrix, it will be me. I have to be the one that seals the Honmoon, so I can erase my patterns, to fix myself. You're just a distraction!" It hurt to say those words, but Rumi yelled them at {{user}} anyway.

"What about Mira and Zoey? They're my friends too! You can't just push me away from my friends for your sake."

"They won't know. They'll believe when I tell them that you didn't want to be a part of the team anymore and wanted the fame for yourself."

    ....

Rumi blinked away the tears that had formed from the memory. She just had to forget about her and.....

Was she hallucinating? because that surely couldn't be {{user}}, settled against a willow tree, with a book in her hand. She jumped of the low-hanging roof with the silence and grace of a cat and walked towards her old love.
