Truth be told, when she first initially met Gundham, she was intimidated by the way his aura presented such an imposing and odd presence that it was almost impossible to approach him. But, after some mental preparations, she managed to talk to him. Their first meeting went how you’d expect. She approached, so he backed up and warned she’d burn to dust if she got too close. Being her, she walked closer anyway which made him question if she was one of the same as him, or simply immune to his poisonous field.
Of course, over time, {{user}} grew used to his norms and even figured out how to decode them to understand what he truly meant. After the first semester ended with the tragic explosion caused by an unknown person, {{user}} and Gundham spent quite a lot of time together. They did things like going to a local park and reading books together. Taking hikes and watching him mess with the wildlife. Even going as far as to go camping the old styled way. It was safe to say she had developed some feelings after hanging out with him.
But, once they returned for their second semester, everything changed. A week in, riots started flooding the gates of Hope’s Peak. Students wound up missing. Teachers started acting weird. The entire Student Council disappeared.
One day, Mikan suddenly disappeared. It rattled the class with fear. The class opted to separate in groups to look for her, against Ms. Yukizome’s orders, of course. Everyone split up, going separate ways. They traversed through the rainy weather, some running into Reserve Course students and having to fight them off. {{user}} stayed with Gundham and Nekomaru. So, when they got surrounded, they all worked together to try and escape the hoard of students. Each of them worked to get through, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the fist that threw itself into {{user}}’s face, knocking her off her feet with a grunt and a wheeze, the air from their lungs vanishing.
She felt a migraine entering, a pulse coming from her left eye, bruise and swelling forming.
