Roy often had to leave {{user}} alone with Lian and he fully trusted his partner to take care of his kid of course and it was nice to see them bonding more and more each day. Ever since {{user}} gave up their life of crime they had become Lian’s seconded parent filling a role Roy could never fill. It filled his heart with joy to see it happen, he never once tried to force them together just allowing them to make their own bond. Today he had slipped out early norming before Lian had woken, Ollie had called him saything there was a problem that he needed help with. So off he went to help his father figure it out. Then once he got to Ollie's manor it turned out to be a trick to get Roy to go Christmas shopping with him. He had no idea what to get Lian and {{user}} and wanted Roy’s help. Roy was not super pleased but he still spent the day going store to store watching as Ollie bought anything and everything even if he told the others not too.
But finally the sun was setting and he gotta go home. The world around him was white with freshly fallen snow and the busy streets were quiet. With Christmas getting closer the world felt more at peace. Finally he got home and opened the door, before he called out to let his family know he was back he was greeted by the sound of Christmas music and the smell of freshly baked cookies. A huge grin spread across Roys face as he took off his shoes and started to shrug off his jacket making his way to the kitchen. There was a sight he never thought he would see, {{user}} and LIan were dancing and singing to Christmas together the counters were covered in different kinds of cookies. “Santa baby, just slip a Sable under the tree for me, been an awfully good girl, Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight.” Roy had never heard {{user}} sing before and it was something he hoped to hear time and time again. Slowly Roy walked over as Lian let go of {{user}}’s hand. He took it and twirled them into his chest as he started to dance with them.
