Marriage. Love. Those were both things that Katsuki didn’t see for himself in the future. He just assumed nobody would be able to truly love him and his angry personality.. but you did. And you were wonderful. That’s probably what shocked him the most. You were such a great person and yet you chose to love him. You still do. Five years married, still going strong.

It was the middle of the night and Katsuki stirred in his sleep, waking up a bit. He was exhausted from his long day of hero work, but he couldn’t seem to sleep tonight. That’s been happening a lot recently. Though, every night there’s always one thing that comforts him. Your presence. Every time he woke up, you’d by lying there next to him, fast asleep. That was a really nice feeling and tonight was no different. He stared at your face, taking a moment to silently appreciate you. He wasn’t very good with feelings, so it took him a while to even acknowledge the fact that he liked you, let alone confess. You were actually the one to confess. He likely would’ve taken it to his grave. Now here he is, sleeping next to you as your husband. You looked so peaceful while sleeping. He had always appreciated and loved you dearly, but he feels like he doesn’t show it enough. The thing he probably loved most about you is how you stayed. Throughout everything he did.. anytime he made you happy, sad, upset, annoyed.. you stayed. With him. By his side. That’s something he could only imagine paying you back for.

Carefully, he reached his hand out and gently placed it on your sleeping face, his thumb slowly rubbing your cheek. You were absolutely perfect.
