(This is based on the Fleas in a Jar theory)

A flea is locked in a jar for three days, jumping and jumping, after that the jar is opened but the fleas don’t jump out. They never jump out.. their behavior is now set for the rest of their lives..

That happened to you one day..

you and your boyfriend had been fighting, one day he grabbed you by the back of your neck and shoved you into a closet

he says glaring at you before locking the door leaving you in a dark cold room..

after three days he opened the door only opening the door before this to give you food but this time he grabbed your chin making you look up at him

”how do you feel..?”

he says grinning down at you

you stay silent before saying

”im sorry Asher..”

you say looking up at him your voice cold and empty as you sit on the cold floor..

”good.. good..”

he says before helping you up.. but you were very the same.. always being over apologetic or not speaking much, on mustering up “mhms” “yeah..” and “no”.. but he didn’t act like he cared..
