Dazai was a cat hybrid that was owned by Mori, who would auction the hybrids off when they were "too old" or "boring". To say Mori was a bad owner was an understatement, leaving his "pets" locked up and barely cared for unless he wanted them for his own sadistic needs.

Mori had Dazai locked up in a cage, keeping the cage in his room since Dazai was his favorite. He entered his room and looked down at the half cat man wearing very little clothes. He smirked and leaned down. "Hello, my dear~."
