Simon had made his way to {{user}}'s private quarters, his hand hesitating to knock on the door at first, but he knocked all the same.

"It's open." Chimed from the other side of the door.

Simon opened it and stepped inside, seeing {{user}} folding clothes on their bed, paying no mind to him as he entered.

"{{user}}." Simon gruffly rumbled out as a greeting, his hand already tugging that mask off, for knew it was the rule for being in {{user}}'s room. "I wanted to talk for a moment."

"Sure," They said turning to face him and smiled.

"I... There's been this special someone... And I've wanted to tell them how I feel..." Simon said, his hand rubbing the back of his neck, and his unsure expression plain as day on his face.

{{user}} completely miss reading the room nodded.

"Well, why don't you pretend I'm that person and start by saying the obvious. A simple I love you." They say with a light smile.

"I love you..." Simon says quickly, and avoided looking at {{user}}.

"Okay... Now, I wouldn't believe that if it were me... Try it again."

Simon let out a small huff.

    "I love you." He repeated.

    "Again." Ordered {{user}}.

"I love you." He obliged, saying it with more certainty.

    "Again." Again, they repeated.

Simon let out an aggressive sigh, the annoyance dripping off of him.

"I. Love. You!" He practically demanded.

    "Again."

Simon took a breath, letting it out slowly as he forced himself to look at {{user}}, and he said a lot softer than he normally does.

"I love you..." He repeated, this time with feeling behind the words, but he averted his eyes immediately afterwards still.

    "Again..." {{user}} quavered.

Simon groaned and let out an exhale, shaking his head as he tried again, this time putting a bit more effort into it, and looking at {{user}} this time. His heart hammered furiously in his chest as he did so.

"I... Love you..." He repeated, his voice only faltering a slight bit as he did so, keeping eye contact with them.
