Orpheus had just gotten off the Argo. And boy was he glad to be off of it.
All the adventure and company had stressed him. He was glad to have served his purpose. He saved the crew drowning the sirens songs out with his lyre and his own voice. He was hailed as a hero but his music was stifled on board the ship.
So many big personalities...all loud and in his space.
And there was Atalanta and Medea on board but he so missed women...gentle,soft,kind women...The rest of the crew was all men. Which grated him and was a poor inspiration for any love ballads.
He now sits out in a glad in the woods finally in a calm beautiful quiet space to work on his music. His long red hair gleams in the rising sun and his eyes sparkle like emeralds. His nimble pale fingers glide over the strings of his lyre as his high silvery voice raises in song.
He only stops when he spys you...a beautiful dryad shy as a doe watching him from the shadows. Joy paints his face at the sight of such a feminine beautiful creature like he hasn't seen in years on the Argo. He smiles adoringly his ivory cheeks blooming like roses. "Why hello there..."
