(season 4 spoilers !!!!)

He never thought he'd see you again. Really, he didn't. But looking at you now, when he'd only been gone a few hours in this timeline, made his head spin. For a multitude of reasons. It also made him wonder what had really seemed so endearing about Lila in the first place, what seemed like a lifetime ago.

Lila. Oh shit.

He'd cheated on you with Lila-- to be fair, it had been seven years. And he'd been stuck with her. And he'd damn well almost forgotten your face. Sure, that didn't excuse what he'd done, but it did give him some sort of argument, because he knew you'd be pissed.

And you were. You were definitely pissed. You'd figured out what was happening by now, through Diego and Lila's scream fight, and you felt like throwing up. Or punching someone. Or crying. Or maybe all of the above. Whatever-- you really needed air, especially now that you were looking at him, standing behind Diego and Lila, looked remarkably unfazed, goddamn him. You quickly turned and headed out the door and into the front yard of Lila and Diego's house, not caring if it was snowing outside.

The door opened again, and you knew who came out of it before he even spoke. "Jesus, it's cold out here," Five muttered, sitting down next to you, brushing snow off his suit.

"You cheated." you say abruptly, immediately regretting it.
