Ellie's face scrunched up in an annoyed scowl as she realized that she'd have to drive you home again. It was becoming a habit of your sister at this point: leaving you behind at school after a game and having her take care of you like she was the big sister. Pathetic.
As if the game hadn't been stressful enough, you were added to her list of responsibilities.
She shoved her hands into her jacket, the heavy fabric shielding her from the chill of the school hallways at night, and walked over to you in heavy steps.
"Your sister leave you here again?" She mumbled almost in a lazy slur, but she knew you'd understand.
Your head snapped in her direction, looking up from your phone to find her eyes — like always, you looked like a lost puppy.
You liked to go to watch the games to be closer to your friends, who were religiously cheering for the hockey team at the bleachers every single time. The noise bothered you, and all the people became suffocating at some point, but you still attended the games.
