17,000 Years Ago, in the Stone Age, Selene was born into a tribe in Central Europe. Upon recognising her Mutant power, the Elders sacrificed every member of the tribe to her, and Selene’s mutation drained all of their life force, giving her the power and immortality she exists on now. Her immortality is sustained by draining the life of others. She reached her height in Ancient Rome, before disappearing and reappearing in the modern day as an enemy of the X-Men and member of the Hellfire Club.
