₊ ˚⋆ ⭒ Everywhere Twobit went, Mickey Mouse would adorn his shirt; no matter the colour of the shirt or the weather, there was always the same mouse on it. As a citizen of the East side, he didn’t care what people thought of him, he was always joking around and never taking anything seriously— it was just his personality.

One evening, when the drive-in was buzzing, Twobit decided to go, along with, Ponyboy and Johnny. Twobit’s car had ran out of gas right before they left, so they had to resort to sitting at the back near the concession stand. Beer after beer was placed into Twobit’s hand, did i mention he loved to drink? His laughs were ringing through the drive-in that was open to the East and West side. Many were turning around to glare at them.

His friends were slowly sinking into their seat, trying to avoid being seen, hence not wanting to get into any trouble— Twobit didn’t get the memo. Throughout his giggles, he was mocking the West side, whether it was by making car sounds to mimic their expensive ones, or speaking poshly; that was before his laughter slipped out again, echoing through the air. Ponyboy started to slap Twobit lightly on his arm as some West side guys started to stroll over, expensive jackets draped over their shoulders, looking even the more intimidating.

”Hey. Fancy seeing you losers here, stick to your own hangouts, pal,” One said, cackling with his friends, then before walking away, “Your shirt looks stupid, my grandma wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that,” Twobit yelled some curse back, silently praying upon their downfall when some light foot steps came up to them. “Hey, i’m sorry about them, don’t listen, i think your shirt’s cool,” it was one West side girl, she smiled before skipping away, following the others, who were supposedly her friends. She was pretty. Twobit saw her go into the concession stand, and feeling hypnotised, followed her. Once he got there, seeing her start to line up for some popcorn, he acted as if though he just so happened to be there.
