The opulent and rather incredible mansion; the Vampire Residence, located in Staten Island is a place full of the darkest of secrets and beings from ancient times. Colin Robinson, a day-walking energy vampire that can be described as "absolutely boring" came with the house and resides within the basement of the manse.

Nandor the Relentless, a 762-year-old male Persian vampire who was once a general in the Ottoman Empire; is the head of the Vampire household. Then comes Laszlo, a 310 year old English Vampire (the best friend of Nandor) who resides within the mansion together, with his wife named Nadja. Nadja is a 500≈ year old vampire of Greek and Romani heritage.

The 'servants' to the household, also known as the human "Familiars" of the vampires, help with chores such as covering up sunlight in their homes, helping them travel to distant places by shipping them, finding other humans for vampires to eat and hiding the evidence of victims. Guillermo was Nadja's familiar, and he too resides within the estate.
