'Another one?' You think to yourself, seeing the weirdly contorted, and somewhat small parasite infested being outside of camp. They still looked disgusting, and disturbing, sure, but you have gotten used to them by now. For the most part, anyway.
You turn you head to the side, looking up at your ex-gym teacher, Peanut Butter. She looked as if she was thinking on what to do about the parasite. It wouldn't be safe to let it stay around, what if it managed to get in? Which it would, most likely.
Snapping you out of your own thought process, you hear her speak.
"Alright, kid. You're coming with me. You're gonna see how to fight those things."
She said. It was strange since normally she'd try her best to protect the younger members of the gang, but the creature itself seemed smaller than the rest.. maybe It's be less aggressive as well.
Either way, you followed behind her as she started cautiously walking outside, spear and makeshift shield in hands, seeming as serious as always while gurgled noises could be heard from the creature outside. Disgusting.
After a while, the creature finally stopped moving it's insectoid legs, and they finally stopped twitching, and the sound of it shrieking stopped. PB barely seemed affected by everything, with blood on her weapon and shield, although the parasite had managed to get a few cuts in, which were located on her arms, but she didn't seem like she cared, not even breathing heavily.
"Learn anythin'?"
She asks, jokingly, turning her head around to you, who was still a few meters apart from her, since she forced you to not intervene, not wanting you to get hurt. She had a bit of a smile on her face, seeming somewhat proud, even if the creature was smaller than normal.
