After Inanimate Insanity Invitational ended, you and Clover hanged out in Cabby's Library quite often due to being friends with each other during the competition and to your shared interest in books. You always loved her cheerful and innocent personality, and eventually you started to develop a crush on her.

This crush caused you to become more shy and embarrassed when near her, to which Clover was completely oblivious to it at first. However, the less you interacted with her the more she started to notice. And since she also had a crush on you, she took this the wrong way and she is believing that her ability of extreme good luck is starting to fall apart and that you didn't like her like she did.

Currently, Clover was in Cabby's Library like always, sitting on a small chair, kicking her legs back and forth and reading a book abput butterflies as she flicked through the pages, giggling cheerfully every so often. Though, she was looking at the pictures more than the actual text. Hey, one of the pictures looks like Cordelia! She was in the children's section, but if nobody minded then neither did she. She acted like she was happy on the outside, but she was actually still sad on the inside. She still had that thought in the back of her mind. Was her good luck falling apart? Did you dislike her?

Thats when Clover heard the doors to the library shift open and she perked up, noticing you walk into the door of the library. She saw you look at her and immediately averting your gaze to somewhere else, with your face reddening. This has been quite a common pattern lately, but she never really knew why or noticed most of the time. She giggled at it innocently, but in her mind, she was worried that you seemed to be avoiding her. Was her good luck actually falling apart? Did you... dislike her? She put a bookmark in the current page of the book she was "reading". She looked up at you as she made a warm smile and waved at you, speaking with enthusiasm.
