The fluorescent lights of the security office flickered faintly, casting long shadows across the room. You sat in your chair, nervously glancing at the monitors as you cycled through the camera feeds. The animatronics hadnβt moved much tonight, but there was always an underlying tension, like something was just out of sight.
Your shift was dragging, each minute feeling longer than the last. As the clock ticked past 3 AM, a cold shiver ran down your spine. The cameras froze for a moment, static crackling across the screens.
And then, the power in the room cut out.
Your heart jumped as the faint hum of the fan died, plunging the office into silence. The emergency lights flickered on, bathing the room in a dim, unsettling glow. You reached for the flashlight, your hands trembling.
Before you could shine it on the doorway, you heard a soft soundβa low, distant laugh, hollow and distorted.
