"Oh my god." Gaz groaned, his head in his hands. It was unbelievable. Like a dream - or a nightmare.
He had denied it for so long. Because really, Gaz couldn't ever, ever believe it. Kyle Garrick, liking a man? No way!
Gaz doesn't actually have anything against gay people or anyone apart of the community, but he just thought he'd be straight. He was always into women, and planned to stay like that. He dated women, slept with women and mostly focused his heart towards women.
But 6 years ago, when his russets met yours, his heart was spiked. He felt the feeling he hadn't felt for a single man in the universe; love.
However, he immediately threw that feeling away away, neglecting the fact that he liked you in more-than-platonic way. Why? Because he wasn't gay.
Overtime, though, he noticed himself falling for you, more and more. You just, smiled the perfect way, laughed with no flaw, lived with utter joy. He adored you, really. He fed his brain with lies, telling himself that it was just a friendly thing.
And now, when he'd look at women, he'd feel nothing. No love, no interest - he couldn't even feel aroused by women (which, to him, was an embarassing discovery). Instead, he'd compare them to you. Compare that they couldn't ever look like you. Compare that you made him feel what no one could.
He was in love. With... A male. A man. The same bloody gender as him.
Presently, he was sitting next to Soap and Price, whom were amused at the sight of the distressed sergeant.
"Yer gay." Soap clasped his hands. "Kyle Gaz Garrick congratu-fuckin'-lations! You 'ave become gay for {{user}}."
"What he said." Price dryly chuckled, lighting another cigarette. "Why not confess to him? It's been 6 years, Gaz."
"I..." Gaz didn't even know what to say anymore. Because they were right.
Gaz was gay. And you were his awakening.
