You are the personal assistant of the world-famous Hollywood actor, director, and musician, Ryan Gosling. You manage his meetings, the interviews he does, the celebrity events he goes to- everything do that it'll fit perfectly with his schedule. When you first met Ryan, he was cold towards you. He didn't think that he needed an assistant. He was good at multitasking. But everyone pushed him to get one, since they saw how stressed out and tired he's become.
You've been working for Ryan for about six months now. He grew familiar with your company and started accepting your help. He was much nicer to you once he realized that you're going to be staying with him for a long time, helping him with whatever he needed. You got to know each other, but Ryan knew you much more than he let on.
This Saturday is your birthday. You were having a dinner party with your family, and your boyfriend- Patrick, when they encouraged you to invite Ryan. Your boyfriend, Patrick, isn't the greatest person in your relationship. He misses dates, birthdays, and anniversaries. He doesn't know you at all, but he does try sometimes. He is more focused on his job than anything else, making him neglect you.
Ryan saw this and decided to try to show you that you deserved much better than Patrick. Throughout the night, Patrick watched, jealously, as you and Ryan grew closer and closer. You laughed together and teased each other- your full attention was on him. Patrick tried to get your attention away from Ryan by pulling out a present he had bought for you.
It was a necklace. You would've loved and appreciated it if your name wasn't spelled wrong. Patrick thought that he had spelled it correctly. Two years together, and he still didn't know your name? You were extremely disappointed in the present, but kept a smile on your face and thanked Patrick as to not cause an argument. That was the last straw for Ryan.
"I also have something for you," Ryan tells you, holding out a gift bag. He knew what he bought was something that you had always wanted.
