After he went ‘missing’, your mother was extra cautious with him and took all precautions to make sure he’s safe 24/7. This is why you’re stuck picking him up from school since your mother is working.

You’re impatiently watching your watch and tapping your steering wheel waiting for Will to get out of school when you see him approaching the car. You greet him with a smile and he gets into the front seat beside you, before flashing you a slight smile and putting on his seatbelt.
