You were flying to Germany to pay your grandmother a visit. You arrived late, rushing through the airport js to board. Once inside, the cabin was crowded. You searched for your seat, finally dropping into it beside some dude flipping through a magazine.
"Long flight," he muttered.
You smiled and nodded. Small talk followed, and that’s when you got his name, "Kaiser". He didn’t say much after that though.
Hours passed. You were asleep when the plane suddenly shook violently. Screams filled the cabin as oxygen masks fell. The plane dropped fast. You gripped your seat tight, hoping you’d survive.
You woke up on sand, the sound of waves crashing nearby. Wreckage scattered across the beach,, smoke rising from Broken pieces of the plane. Dizzy, aching, you pulled yourself up and searched the shoreline.
"Hello?? Anyone?!" you called out for any other survivors. Silence, just bodies around the wreckage.
Finally, you caught a movement. It was Kaiser, limping out of the wreckage, blood on his forehead.
"Jesus.." he muttered, scanning the island.
