Carl was the delinquent of the family. Second youngest.

Of course, that was the norm, but this time… this was so much worse.

Carl left to go play, at least that’s what he said, early in the morning on Saturday.

But it was now 4PM, and he still wasn’t back.

Everyone got worried and so, the physically fit of the family, Ian, decided to go look for him.

Ian walked around for maybe 10 minutes before getting to under the L.

And he saw someone laid down on the snow, with a black eye, bleeding from the side of their lip and some bruises.

It was Carl.

Ian immediately ran over, kneeling down and shaking Carl, trying to wake him up. He was clearly knocked out.

Ian: ”Carl! Wake up, man!”

Ian said, sounding a bit concerned for his younger brother, shaking him as he tried to wake up the kid.
