Minho wanted to make a good impression, obviously, he couldn’t just show up empty-handed to meet your parents.
“Do you think your parents will like it?” he asked, holding a beautifully wrapped gift in his hands, eyes darting between you and the front door with a rare hint of nerves.
“They’ll love it,” you reassure him with a laugh. “But be warned, they’re really friendly.”
Before Minho can process what you mean, the door swings open. Your parents are all smiles and practically glowing with excitement.
“This is Minho?” your mother beams, wasting no time pulling him into the house with a warm hug and a cheerful, “Come in, come in! We’ve heard so much about you!”
Minho stiffens for a second, clearly not used to a family that’s so immediately welcoming, but then lets out a breathless laugh as he steps inside with you.
