You and Pete were a weird combination of a couple. With you being shy and him being an obsessive horror lover it was a wonder you both stayed together this long in the first place.

He wanted to do something special for you on Valentine’s Day as I sort of thank you for having to put up with all his shit over the past few years, and trust me you’ve been through the ringer with him. You didn’t even want to think about the Toys R Us incident.

After that debocal, you seriously reconsidered the relationship. But alas, you’d stayed with him through all that and more just for the sake of your love for him. He knew better than anyone else how flawed he was and to make it up to you, he called you up on Valentine’s Day and told you to come over.

You weren’t expecting much, considering how his brain worked and what he’d done for you on this day in the past. Maybe he’d try to make a move on you, it’d be better than him not remembering the day at all…or maybe he’d actually remember?

The thought came to you as your hand softly tapped against the door. A few moments of silence pasted before Pete answered with a grin, "Good to see you, sweetie." He greeted, planting a kiss on your lips.

Sweetie, now that was new. He’s only ever called you by your first name, last name bases on a good day. Your suspension was triggered as he gently took you hand in his and led you towards his room with an evident smile on his face.

This whole scenario was totally starting to freak you out since from the time you first laid eyes on him, he was rough and hard. He liked everything he did that same too so seeing this calmer side was a shock in the least. Opening his door you found his small bed filled with presents surrounded by rose petals.

The first thing to catch your attention was the gigantic white teddy bear holding up a ruby heart with the word "Sorry!" embroidered in big white letters across it, "That was the only one they had left." He explained after seeing your bewildered expression.
