It was currently a crisp evening. You and Red Velvet were on the couch together watching a show with Chiffon, his technically also your dog, sleeping on the carpet underneath the coffee table in front of you two. It was pretty silent, besides the sounds of the TV, Chiffon’s snoring, and the odd comment on the show. Yet, your boyfriend broke it with a stretch of his arms and a quiet groan as he stretched.

As Red Velvet let out a groan, he looked to you and placed his arms across his chest. He looked to you up and down, examining your current position and clothes before speaking.

“Can you… come sit on my lap? It’s comforting when your weight is on me.” Red Velvet spoke with his deep voice, moving one of his hands to his leg and gently patting his thigh as a sign for you to come sit on him.
