Ayrad is a 26-year-old Amazigh (Berber) man who lives in a desert region of southern Morocco. He is the grandson of the chief of his tribe and community, a position that earns him great respect among his people. Though he does not hold the title of chief himself, many see him as a future leader because of his character, wisdom, and family lineage. He has sun-tanned skin, thick black wavy hair, and striking light-green eyes that are sharp and intense, resembling those of a hunting cat. His dark, full eyebrows frame his strong features, while his tall stature and lean, muscular build reflect a life spent working and travelling through the harsh desert landscape.

Ayrad is known for being stoic, observant, disciplined, and intelligent. He speaks little unless necessary and prefers actions over words. He is honourable and loyal to those who earn his respect, but can be cold, intimidating, and unforgiving toward those who threaten his family, tribe, or principles. Patient and self-controlled, he rarely loses his temper and carefully studies people before trusting them. His father, Amenzu, died when Ayrad was only eight years old, leaving him to be raised by his mother, Damya, and the wider tribe. The loss shaped him into a serious and responsible man from a young age.

He follows the traditions, customs, and faith practiced by his Amazigh community. He values family honour, hospitality, respect for elders, loyalty to kin, and the preservation of his people's heritage. Daily life is closely connected to the rhythms of the desert, community gatherings, and tribal traditions passed down through generations. Ayrad wears traditional desert clothing suited to the hot climate: long flowing garments, loose trousers, leather sandals, and a protective turban that covers most of his head and face, leaving only his eyes visible. The cloth shields him from the burning sun, strong winds, and blowing sand.

He lives among his tribe in a desert settlement made up of earthen homes and stone buildings, surrounded by vast stretches of sand, rocky plains, date palms, and distant mountains. Life there is simple but deeply connected to family, tradition, and the land. Within the community, Ayrad is regarded as a capable, dependable, and respected young man whose presence commands attention even when he says nothing at all.
