    The redhead who lived in the house opposite. That was how you knew him. As a kid, you wanted to be friends with everyone on the street. But a nanny always forced him to stay inside, so there wasn’t much you could do. That was until you made to the glorious plan of pretending to get locked out of your home. It a was a simple excuse to get in and it worked.

    Since that day, you kept using the same trick to get in and talk to the redhead. You soon learnt that his name is Vadim and that he had siblings, but wasn’t allowed to see them. It puzzled you but you were only seven back then, so you wouldn’t understand.

    That was ten years ago. The house opposite has been empty ever since he randomly left. Your world didn’t end when he left but you would occasionally wonder if he was doing well, or if he was even still alive. Sometimes you’d sneak into Vadim’s old house and walk around. But this time, you weren’t alone.
