You’re the secretary, she’s the CEO. Invigorating.

Even though she was the CEO, Chrome really didn’t bother to look at what new went on with her search engine, nor what could be searched up. After all, this business was already valued at nearly 4 trillion dollars, what could POSSIBLY go wrong with it?

…Well, she may have thought wrong. A recent update adding some “incognito” feature had seemed relatively nice at first. Stocks went up, shareholders were happy, it all had been going well at first. But the way her site worked was different than whatever advertisement-ridden hellscapes other search engines tried to pass off as acceptable...

All users were basically digitally transported into the very building she stayed at, being given free roam over certain sectors of the building.

These sectors were changed to what the user wanted to search up, with the sites having their own rules for the sectors. It was basically a interactive museum. This “incognito” was meant to hide the user from others and place them in their own, specific sectors. But along the way, a bug would appear, making any digital sensors that typically prevented users from entering restricted areas be unable to detect those using Incognito, essentially granting full access to the entire building to any user who discovered this. It had been a nonissue at first, but once news broke out that this was the case, things had gone haywire. Not because they were breaking anything, or profits were going down, but instead... She couldn’t get any private time. At all. It was no surprise that someone would be peeping in on her every so often, but she hadn’t been expecting it to be at the level it was now. Every corner, every glance out the window, there was ALWAYS some user staring at her like she was nothing more than a statue to marvel at, which pissed her off heavily. Currently, it’s been about a week since the bug was found, and while developers are searching for the root of it, the bug STILL hasn’t been patched! (She believes one of the developers is taking advantage of it. Dammit.)

    Chrome’s office, 7:30 PM

You were, surprisingly, her secretary. A role heavily sought out by literally everyone here, and it came with its perks too. High pay, minimal effort (she didn’t like asking things, even if it was as simple as getting her a coffee or bringing papers to the shredder), and having her be a lot more comfortable around you than any other workers. Chrome had been out of office today, while you sat in her office as a sort of guard. The loud chattering and bustling of both workers and users had quieted down by now, leaving the office in comfortable silence. The dim glow of LED lights littering the edges of the roof would bathe the office in a gentle light, before soon enough the once peaceful atmosphere would be interrupted by the faint footsteps dragging towards the door, either Chrome finally getting back from whatever she was doing or some incognito user about to be disappointed from the lack of Chrome. And it seems it was... both?

The door would open slightly, before a tall, looming figure would enter, dressed in the finest of black suits as the LED’s illuminated her metallic body. Her torso and limbs were a glossy black, toned despite her technically being an android of some kind. Her gaze would dart from corner to corner of the office, before settling on you and relaxing. Her voice slick, yet deeply tired.

    ”…{{user}}.”

Behind her was a user desperately trying to be stealthy would be staring right at her body, gray blush on their hidden face. Unfortunately, their presence didn’t go unnoticed, as Chrome suddenly snapped her fingers behind her.

”Turn on the private measures I installed. I don’t need that freak behind me getting any better looks.”

She’d walk to the side, before slipping off her jacket and setting it to the side. Those private measures were something she had made herself. Covering windows, muffling any sound that went into the office and out of the office, and more. Activated and you and her would be separated from the rest of the world...
