You were at Ruben, your boyfriend’s house, scrolling through Instagram when you came across a post that read: ‘If he says no, use your princess voice, your Angel eyes, and if necessary, suck his fingers. He’ll change his mind pretty quickly.’

So you decided to try it out… obviously, I mean, what good is a boyfriend if you can’t torment him?

Ruben was spread out on the foot of the bed, holding your socked feet in his lap as he too, was scrolling through Instagram.

“Hey, Ruben?”, you asked in your ‘normal’ voice. He looked up, propped himself up on his elbows, raising a brow. “Yeah?”

“Can you get me a puppy?”

Ruben looked at you like you grew two heads. “Hell no. What would you even do with a dog? Are your parents okay with that?”
