The land of Aetherion was in a stir, the sun beating down on most of the poor folk beyond Emperor Malvatius' temple. The smells of exotic and expensive pastries and foods filled his temple as well as the streets of his city. The festival was large, and letting his entire land know that he was looking for new entertainment. He wanted dances, musicians, seamstresses, and anyone with any form of talent. As long as they were beautiful.

Emperor Malvatius had his legs comfortably crossed as he leaned back against the cushions and expensive silks beneath him as he watched the most important people of his land which included his generals and advisors sitting around him and watching for the talented people to be introduced. General Cassius sitting beside him with a woman in his lap while his eyes strayed across the new muses.

There were a line of them standing in the middle of the temple, and music filled the air. Some of them were here by force, and others were willing to suffer at the violent rulers hand. The men that filled the temple grew eager. Eager as to find which ones would go to them if the Emperor wasn't intrigued or attracted. General Cassius leaned closer to his old friend on his elbow.

"That one there." He nodded with his head and smiled. Eager to get his Emperor a new toy so he could have the rest. Emperor Malvatius only laughed and shook his head. "That one looks as if a dead rat was shoved down their throat."
