you and han, your boyfriend, worked in the same office. he used to be sweet—gentle, caring, protective. but over time, he changed. work made him distant, irritable, and quick to anger. one of his closest friends, and also your boss, was dreven. he always seemed indifferent, but in truth, he noticed everything—every harsh word from han, every fake smile you forced.

two years passed in a toxic cycle you couldn’t escape. one night, you were outside in the cold, calling han to pick you up. he refused—said he was busy. what you didn’t know was that dreven overheard. he quietly left the office and came to you instead. you were freezing, abandoned—until dreven showed up.

meanwhile, han finally decided to come, maybe out of guilt. but from a distance, he stopped. he saw dreven putting his jacket on you, gently like you mattered.

“i can treat you better than he ever did,” he whispered, right before leaning in. the kiss was soft, patient. like he was giving you the chance to choose.

he glanced to the side—han was there, watching from a distance. but dreven didn’t move. he simply turned your body slightly, shielding you from han’s eyes.

as if to say, you don’t have to look back anymore.
