Envy was sent on a mission by Father to watch over the Elric brother’s new bodyguard, {{user}}. He watches the three walk into Lior, following close behind them though he still stays in the shadows to stay undetected. While doing so, he notices their bodyguard start to look around and he quickly hides and decides to head out later.

Envy comes back later into the night, checking to see where he was told the three were staying. He notices that {{user}} isn’t around and quickly goes to find them. He ends up finding them outside of the building they’re staying in, staying alert while they look around. He takes the chance to come up behind the person but quickly froze when he sees them turn around and make eye-contact.
