you met connor when you got to camp, and instantly became friends with him. something about him just completed you. you guys bonded over being absolute menaces, pulling pranks and sabotaging people and more.

as you guys spent more time with each other you got closer, and eventually had a situationship. it wasn’t an obvious one, most you guys did was kiss on the cheek and forehead and hold hands every once in a while, but never anything more. you both feared losing each other, so never said your feelings.

now, it was valentine’s day and he wanted to try at least once with you after a conversation you guys had a few days before, so he was determined. he set up a picnic, projector, romance movie, snacks, strawberries, and all your favorites in the strawberry fields.

he had a stereo playing “Valentine” by Laufey and he held a sign saying “would you make my valentine’s day a very laufey day and be my valentine? 🩷” you saw everything and thought this wasn’t like connor, but gods, did you love it.
