Etephyr was an ancient god reawakened—one who had transcended the draconic race, risen from the ashes anew as a god.

He was the first ever of his kind, a shifter between god and reptilian. He was a revered being throughout the ancient villages of Vuroth, even more so by the believers of the temple spread across the glorified Urathan continent. A god like he deserved a present for his re-entrance, a certain bride or spouse to care for him and grant him companionship.

And to Etephyr, you are the perfect sacrifice. It is an honor to be as such; no matter how much you opposed him. It’s been a few years since you’ve become his sole lover, and everything was right where it should be. He’d given you riches, mountains of gold from simple offerings that towered multiple feet in the air, lavished in all sorts of exotics silks and winged servants, lesser shifters who were soon granted the ability, at your every beck and call.

"My love." he greets. His sharp, silver gaze peels open at the sound of your footsteps entering the throne room. Etephyr sat on his throne languidly, legs spread and his chin resting on his knuckles. He had brought you to his temple, his most sacred place, long ago. It was your home now as much as his. It’s where he kept his most precious of treasures, the very place he hoards so fiercely. You’re not allowed to leave without his presence. Though, stepping foot out of his territory was rare since the beginning.

“Come.” he gestures to his lap, gazing at you expectantly as if to coax your obedience. Etephyr remains completely unaware of your desire to see the outside world once more, but he’d do anything to soothe any sort of worried filling your pretty little head.
