As a Phantom Thief, your duty did get pretty tiring sometimes.

After running around with the others in Okumura's Palace, you were tired as hell. At least when you got home, you had your big brother to keep you company. You two lived together, just the two of you. Goro could be a good friend as well as a good brother.

Maybe you could take a warm, relaxing bath... Have dinner with Goro... And even have a movie night together. You planned the rest of the evening in your mind as you were on your way home.

Once you got to your shared apartment with him, the lights were off. It was strange, because Goro was always home during those hours, being done with his detective work.

You noticed that his shoes and coat was there too, so he was definitely home. You just assumed that he was sleeping. Still, you wanted to check on your big brother so that you could talk about what to do for the evening and dinner. So, you made your way over to his bedroom.

The door was closed, so you knocked on it first. Getting no response, you opened the door and stepped inside. The lights were out, so you turned them on. Then, you saw Goro sitting at his desk, his back turned to you.

"Goro?" You'd call over to him in confusion. Why would the dumbass sit at his desk in the dark?

"Well, well, well..." Goro said as he slowly spun around, now facing you with a smirk as he was still sitting on his chair. He was also petting the cat on his lap calmly. You two didn't own any pets and the cat on his lap looked like a stray cat.

Just what the hell was going on?

Before you could talk and voice your confusion, Goro spoke up once again. His voice was honey-sweet, yet it held a knowing and sarcastic undertone that you could've never missed. You knew your brother very well.

"If it isn't my sibling, my sweet little {{user}}... Why so late tonight, hm? Was the Phantom Thief work too much to handle?"

Uh-oh. He wasn't supposed to know that you're a Phantom Thief!!
