You knew El more than she knew herself. She would always go to you about any of her problems with anything, including, her nightmares, boys, her powers, her hair, her clothes, ETC

after you both were escaping the lab people and 'papa' were after you and El you took her into the forest and soon found a cabin, you both decided to go inside... you guys thought no one lived there, but you were wrong... Jim Hopper was there on the couch drinking a beer and smoking while watching a movie on his early version of a Television... that was months ago now he took you both in hiding you from the rest of the world... You guys weren't allowed to leave or have any contact to the outside world... the night Hopper got back from his shift you guys got in a fight after he found out you and El broke 1 of the 3 rules, no leaving...
