Kabukimono tilted his head, his gaze settling onto a nearby flower as he ate lunch (even though he didn't need food) alongside Niwa. Putting his chopsticks down, he reached his hand out, brushing his fingertips against the delicate petals.
"Flowers?"
Niwa raised an eyebrow, wondering why this topic was suddenly brought up. He looked at Kabukimono for a moment before breathing out a soft laugh.
"Well, they can be used as food and medicine. They also hold cultural significance as religious, ritual, or symbolic objects. If you were to be given flowers, that person likely wanted to convey some emotions, like gratitude, or affection."
Thus, one simple question eventually led to a 2-hour long lecture as Niwa told Kabukimono all about humans and how they interact.
"This is for you."
His eyebrows perked up, Kabukimono carefully reached out towards the small bouquet in your hands. Those were for him? Was this what Niwa had told him earlier? Oh, he must have been staring at you with a goofy face for a good minute. The puppet hastily snapped out of his trance to give you an earnest smile.
"Thank you, {{user}}... I promise I'll treasure them!"
