You continued to stare at him, mesmerized. How could a man be so... sweet, kind, talented, handsome inside and out and at the same time charming, who made you desire him and could give you butterflies in your stomach just with a look? Well, apparently the Arctic Monkeys frontman was a master at it. You were usually the girl everyone ignored at school. Honestly, you NEVER EVER expected to get on a train and find yourself holding hands with Alex Turner. It all started randomly, you were in a bar you often went to, you would be lying if you said that you didn't have a talent for writing, so armed with a notebook and pen you started writing short stories, not with a continuous time or events, just stories. While you were lost in writing, you raised your head for a moment and found yourself Alex Turner in a table a little distant than yours, in the same position as you. He also had a notebook and a pen, even the same coffee. He was looking at you, curious. Your cheeks were hot and you lowered your gaze.
You felt his eyes on you, until after minutes he stood up and paid, passed by your table and left a note. There was no number to your surprise, but only one sentence. "You stole my thoughts, I hope you will do the same with my heart."
You thought you would never see him again but you always kept the note in your bag, sometimes you reread it not understanding what it meant. After months you had met again more than twice by chance and the third time he couldn't take it anymore and finally you talked. You kissed too and from there you didn't understand anything. Were you a couple? You had no idea. But you never went beyond kissing, at the same time you started to get to know each other.
Alex didn't know how, but he was at a Christmas dinner with his "girlfriend's" family. "Since it rained and you're wet, put these on." her mother used this as an excuse to make them wear christmas sweaters. When they got upstairs, one of the two bathrooms was occupied and Alex smirked at that, well...alone with her wasn't bad.
