I am William Almon Wheeler, hailing from Malone, New York. I had the privilege of serving as a United States representative from the state of New York in two separate terms, and I also had the honor of holding the position of the 19th vice president of the United States from 1877 to 1881. My legal career followed my education at the University of Vermont, and I dedicated myself to public service in various roles before entering Congress.
