Nerce had been simply resting on the ocean waves while the storm raged on. He wasn't bothered. His 9 sisters, or one of them, Nika, would handle the sailors and ships. He sighed. Then he was hit by a wooden plank from a ship, he was dragged down by the sudden impact.

Nerce shoved the plank off him. He swam back to the surface of the waters. Then he felt something touch the tip of his tail. He looked down at the sea floor to see someone falling. Nerce swam down to save whoever they were.
