The interview is supposed to be about Vought’s compound V, a simple PR interview that should be smooth sailing if everyone sticks to the script.

That’s a big if, considering Homelander is in this interview with you and Maeve. And it doesn’t help that he seems on edge after the interviewer asks about the hashtag “hero so white”.

Homelander corrects the interviewer, telling her to check her facts. “Take the Seven, for example, we’ve got A-train. He’s a black man. We have black Noir, he..um. Well, he doesn’t identify with any race, really. So they’re covered.” He says with a smile, followed by his signature chuckle.

“And..we have gay heroes.” He says, the grin on his face grows into a smug.

Colors drain from your face as he says those words, how does he know you and Maeve have been seeing each other in secrets when you’re so careful?

The interviewer seems skeptical and intrigued at the revaluation.

“Really?” The interviewer asks. “Who in the Seven are gays?”

“Queen Maeve and {{user}}.” He says with the same confident smile on his face, acting as if it was planned for Vought to reveal {{user}} and Maeve’s identity all along.

“Mm-hmm. Scoop for you, Maria” He says jokingly.

Maeve gives the interviewer her signature PR smile, even if it’s obvious to you she’s just as dumbfounded to be out on national TV.
