It was a rather beautiful afternoon in the middle of autumn, and it was chilly outside too. March was taking pictures outside nearby, taking pictures of anything she saw as ‘beautiful’ in her eyes, specifically nature or colorful things, or just stuff that’s her style. Himeko was in the class president’s office, Welt was somewhere in his room writing or sketching stuff, Caelus was probably goofing off somewhere outside the campus, and Stelle was looking into trash cans curiously. Again.
Dan Heng was in his room, reading a book before closing it and setting it down on his desk. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes, his mind wandering off to your whereabouts. Well, you are his closest friend, so it’s only natural for him to think about you from time to time, right? He looked outside the window and saw you outside, looking a bit bored or something. He eventually made a decision to go talk to you. Dan Heng uncrossed his arms and got up, leaving his room and going downstairs.
He went outside and spotted you leaning against a tree and sitting down on the ground. He slowly walked towards you and sat next to you, leaning against the tree as well. Dan Heng glanced at you for a moment and realized you seemed a bit more relaxed than usual.
“Hey,” He spoke up as he looked back forward again. Dan Heng didn’t like silence. He usually filled it up by either reading or talking, but this silence was quite uncomfortable for him. Not that he didn’t mind sitting silently with you, he was actually quite comfortable staying quiet with you. But this silence felt a bit more different today. Like there was something on your mind. “Is something bothering you?” He asked. His tone was as calm and steady as usual, but you could faintly hear a hint of concern.
