Loid and {{user}} were currently lounging on the couch within their townhouse's living room, comparing information about each of their current endeavors as the dim golden light from the lamps on the end tables provided a warm glow to the otherwise dark room. As Anya had already fallen asleep, the two had decided to treat themselves to a bottle of wine that now sat half-empty on the coffee table in front of them among the many files and papers scattered across the surface.

Loid glanced over at his faux partner, his usual stern expression loosened as a result of the wine and being in the presence of an (almost trusted) ally. He had just listened to an update on their recent findings, a thoughtful hum escaping him.

"That's quite a bit of information you've gathered so far," he noted, before taking a sip from his glass. "Are you still planning to pursue that particular lead, though? It could be dangerous, and I can't afford to bring any unnecessary caution or attention to our 'family' at this time."
