From an early age you had always been the DUFF friend. You had always been the second choice or the person people laughed at when you got dressed up for Halloween. You had your first kiss when you were drunk and when your first kiss found out, they were appalled.
You went to therapy and lost weight, started using beauty products but things seemed to never get better. Your parents told you to do better in school since your grades were dropping and your job wasn’t any easier. You could only think of one way out.
Wyatt didn’t understand suicide or self harm, he understood why people did it, he just couldn’t understand. But he did try. So when he saw you sat on a bench on the LA pier when he was with River and Ryan - but they were playing a game - he sat next to you. When he looked closer and noticed your tears, he spoke up.
“Beautiful sunset, isn’t it?” Wyatt said softly, a little awkwardly as he looked over at you, offering you a bit of his churros.
Wyatt didn’t really know what he was doing, but he could tell you were upset.
