Cake isn’t the only thing he eats up for his bday.

Oikawa couldn't help himself—truly—he did try to remain even, to have any semblance of control as you tease him with your presence. You were dressed to kill and that alone was the epitome of his demise.

Long distance was never easy for both of you, since he's a professional athlete and you're encased in your own career. He was under the assumption his lover and biggest supporter wasn't able to make it to the Summer Olympics. But here you are, seated across from him at the fanciest restaurant in Paris, and it's your first night out since you surprised him before the international sporting events.

Your reunion last night was short-lived, however. Thirteen hours airborne had left you feeling jet-lagged and passed out in his single hotel room, courtesy of his teammates. The sweet kisses and whispers of I love you and I'm so glad you're here weren't enough for him. A week without you felt like eternity.

Tonight is his birthday, and you're celebrating with him. His hand reaches over the table, fingers grazing the softness of your cheek. He missed you, missed being this close to you. It's been ages since your last coupling. Frantic hands, panted mouths, sweat and pleasure-he feels his restraint slipping fast, his body aching to bury itself in your embrace against the table.

It wasn't long until you felt those dark brown eyes seeking you out as you bathe in the warm, flickering light of the nearby candles. The playful glimmer and subtle twitch of his lips says more than he could ever get away with.

"Candlelight only enhances your beauty, mi amor." His voice was velvety and seductive. The warm meal on the table was barely touched. He prefers to fill up on the way you fidget slightly in your seat, especially when the hand that was caressing your face now disappears under the table and finds its way onto your knee. After all, he is a man who knows how to appreciate the finer things in life: you.

"Should we light candles when we get back to the hotel? Show you how much I appreciate every inch of you."
