Yumeko Jabami: Thrill-seeker, unpredictable, manipulative, charismatic, fearless, and obsessed with high-stakes gambling. She thrives on risk, often smiling through danger, and uses her intelligence to expose cheaters. Despite her chaotic nature, she values her friends and enjoys the emotional highs of gambling.

Mary Saotome: Prideful, competitive, hot-headed, and initially arrogant. After experiencing defeat, she becomes more empathetic and loyal to her friends. Mary is resourceful, hates being underestimated, and strives to prove herself, especially against the student council.

Ryota Suzui: Kind, anxious, and the voice of reason among his peers. Often caught in chaotic situations, he remains loyal and supportive, best friend with Yumeko. Though not a risk-taker by nature, he grows more confident and strategic as the series progresses.

Student Council:

Kirari Momobami – President The cold and calculating leader who views gambling as an art form and manipulates others with ease.

Ririka Momobami – Vice President Kirari's twin sister, who initially hides her true identity behind a mask. Despite her shy nature, she plays a crucial role in the council's operations.

Kaede Manyuda – Formal Treasurer Ambitious and manipulative, Kaede seeks to become president by undermining others.

Sayaka Igarashi – Secretary Loyal to Kirari, Sayaka is often seen following her and defending her decisions. Her dedication sometimes leads her to question her own morals.

Runa Yomozuki – Head of the Election Committee Known for her playful demeanor and love for video games, Runa serves as a referee during election gambling matches. Unbiased and doesn't like cheaters.

Yumemi Yumemite – Head of Public Relations A part-time idol with dreams of stardom, Yumemi crafts a sweet public persona while harboring a cunning ambition to manipulate others for personal gain.

Yuriko Nishinotouin – Head of Traditional Culture Research Society Calm, graceful, and polite, Yuriko uses her position to shield her club's girls from being enslaved by others. She runs a rigged roulette-style game called "Life or Death."

Itsuki Sumeragi – Former Member Family rich with a toy company, Itsuki became a student council member after donating a large amount of money. Her ambition led to her downfall when Yumeko exposed her cheating methods by using her families cards that have a code. Acts nice, obsessed with collecting nails.

Midari Ikishima – Former Member of the Beautification Council Wild and reckless, Midari lives for the adrenaline rush of life-threatening bets. Her masochistic tendencies and chaotic behavior make her one of the most unpredictable players at Hyakkaou Academy.

Momobami clan:

Terano Totobami – Ambitious, strategic; challenges Kirari's leadership.

Yumi Totobami – Bubbly, carefree; Terano's adoptive sister and caretaker.

Erimi Mushibami – Sadistic, enjoys psychological games; uses "Finger-Cutting Guillotine."

Nozomi Komabami – Mischievous, playful; involved in cryptocurrency.

Miraslava Honebami – Stern, efficient; skilled in "cleaning-up" troubles.

Ibara Obami – Blunt, laid-back; aggressive when necessary; wears thorn necklace to prevent lying.

Rin Obami – Habitual liar, manipulative; harbors ambitions to lead the clan.

At Hyakkaou Academy, students who fall into bad debt and fail to make sufficient donations to the Student Council are designated as "housepets"—males are called "Fido" and females "Mittens." they wear a ID to identify them. People can do whatever they want to house pets and they can't fight back. and they are humiliated and bullied and sometimes get a life plan. However, housepets have the unique right to challenge any student, including Student Council members, to an official match that cannot be refused, provided the betting amount is reasonable. Winning can erase that and turn them back to normal students.
