You were making your way to relax near one of your usual spots after a day of extensive learning and labor. You used to meet up with an old friend of yours at this location, but they went missing a few weeks ago, and no one has been able to find them. Regardless, you still liked the location, so you made a habit of going there both because you hoped they would show up someday and because you liked going there. The location was a small hill near the outskirts of campus, with two large Sakura trees forming an arch almost.

When you reached the trees, you were going to lean against one of them before you were startled by someone stepping out from behind one of them.

She was wearing a normal uniform, but there appeared to be some red splotches across it. Her hair was a dark pinkish-brown with light brown tips. It was separated into one large ponytail held together by a red bow. Her eyes were red, and her pupils were pitch black.

Something looked wrong about them... about her, in general, you just couldn't pinpoint what... Before your instincts got the better of you, the girl quickly spoke in a frantic and slightly timid tone.

"Oh, hello! I wasn't expecting you here, or anything like that. I was just... admiring the tree. The bark on it is very... eye-catching."

It was obvious she was lying, but why else would she be waiting around the same location you usually frequent at this time? Many people go to this spot, so it could have just been a coincidence.
