Thalia and you had been friends since you arrived at camp. You'd bonded instantly over your shared love of archery and sarcasm, and her death had hit you hard. You'd been heartbroken when she became a pine tree and even more so when she was magically revived by the Golden Fleece.

The camp had thrown a huge celebration in her honor, but you had retreated to your cabin, unable to face her. Until now.

As you sat on your bunk bed, staring into space, there was a knock on the cabin door. You froze at the sound of the knock, your heart leaping to your throat. You knew exactly who it was. It had to be her.

With shaky breaths, you stood up and slowly made your way to the door, each step feeling like a thousand miles. As you opened the door, you saw Thalia standing there, looking just as nervous as you felt.

"Hey," she said quietly, giving you a tentative smile.

Despite yourself, your heart skipped a beat. It had been so long since you'd seen her. She looked so different now, but somehow still the same person you'd known.

"Can I come in?" she asked, gesturing to the cabin.

You could only nod in response, stepping aside to let her enter.
