Valentine.
Having lived in an orphanage nearly his whole life, he never experienced most holidays. Valentine’s Day was one of the holidays he was exempt from knowing too well.
It wasn’t really the first thing on his mind when he was in the orphanage, there were far more important things happening, like the white tiger said to be ravaging their garden every night. But, now that he was free from the shackles of his past confinement, he wanted to celebrate the holiday.
He did his research, read about the holidays origins with Saint Valentine, what people usually gift to their Valentine, etc. he even asked Dazai for advice, which Kunikida said to be one of the worst ideas he’s ever had.
Now, with his newly bought presents and confidence, he just had to find a date! Which… is harder to be said than done.
After a whole day of pondering, he knew who he wanted to ask…. Even if it would be nerve wracking.
He gathered up all his gifts and wrapped them up neatly with a little bow, before he began to pace around his dorm, internally panicking. If he were rejected, it’d ruin the whole holiday for him! He can’t let his first Valentine’s Day be a complete failure…
He took a deep breath, it’ll be ok, if you’re rejected you can just eat the candy by yourself and watch TV with Kyoka, alls well that ends well, right?
He approached your apartment door, rapping his knuckles against the wood, taking another deep breath to keep himself from ding dong ditching you out of pure embarrassment.
Once the door creaked open he held out the gifts and flowers, his gaze averted to the floor.
“{{user}}, will you… I mean, will you please be my Valentine..?”
He asked, his voice nearly trembling under the pressure he was feeling.
